Left Handed Crocheters is a welcoming community built to make crocheting easier, more natural, and inspiring for left-handed makers everywhere.
Hi I’m Jen, the creator of Left Handed Crocheters.
When I first picked up a crochet hook, I quickly realized that being left-handed came with its own unique challenges. Most tutorials were mirrored, patterns felt backwards, and I spent more time flipping instructions in my head than actually crocheting. What began as a personal journey to make crocheting feel more natural soon became a mission to make it easier for others who felt the same way.
Left Handed Crocheters began as a small Facebook group where lefties could share ideas, patterns, and encouragement. Over time, it grew into a thriving community, a welcoming space where left-handed makers from around the world connect, learn, and inspire one another.
Here, we celebrate creativity, individuality, and the left-handed perspective. Whether you’re just learning to hold your first hook or you’ve been crocheting for years, you belong here. This is your space to grow your confidence, explore new techniques, and rediscover the joy of creating, one loop at a time.
To empower and inspire left-handed crocheters everywhere by offering accessible, high-quality resources, tutorials, and product recommendations designed specifically for the left-handed maker.
It all started with a simple idea: Crocheting shouldn’t feel harder just because you’re left-handed.
From that belief, a supportive and creative community was born. What started as a Facebook group of passionate makers has evolved into a growing hub for learning, sharing, and celebrating the art of crochet from a left-handed point of view.
Here, every stitch tells a story, one made stronger by the hands that create it.
